Terri Dwyer is a well-known face having been an original cast member of Channel Four’s long-running soap opera Hollyoaks. Since leaving the soap she has concentrated on her TV presenting career.

Terri is the host of popular ITV1 daytime show 60 Minute Makeover and is currently working on a second series. Last year, Terri co-presented Emmerdale Confidential and Coronation Street Confidential with Jeremy Edwards, reporting on all the latest gossip and character news behind the scenes of the UK’s top soaps. She was a regular on ITV’s popular Loose Women series for two years, in which she debated topical issues of the day and interviewed celebrity guests. Terri has reported for Richard And Judy (Channel Four), The Wright Stuff (Five) and on Anita Anand’s Radio Five Live Show. Terri has hosted the motor racing show, Racing Rivals for Channel Four and Bravo, which saw her travelling around the UK reporting pit side on all the drama from the SEAT Cupra Championship.

2003 saw Terri compete in Channel Four’s ambitious project The Games in which she trained in six sporting disciplines and went onto share Gold with the ex-Miss World. Last year saw Terri become The Games: Champion of Champions (Channel Four) when she triumphed against the current winners. Other presenting credits include Holiday (BBC1), which saw Terri get a taster of the 24-hour party town that is Las Vegas, and She’s Gotta Have It (Channel Four), where Terri sampled the shopping delights of Leeds.

Terri’s ability to remain calm and in control has made her a most suitable choice for hosting live events too, such as the Smash Hits roadshows. In addition, Terri has guest presented on Galaxy Radio, Radio City (Liverpool) and Hallam FM, proving she is adaptable and quick to learn.

Born in Leicestershire, Terri attended Grammar School and achieved top academic qualifications. She developed a high level of dance spanning from tap, modern and classical ballet. A sports enthusiast Terri competed at international level winning gold medals in swimming and cross-country. Terri’s interests include fitness, learning Italian and looking after her horses. She is also a fully qualified scuba diver, and holds a motorbike licence. Terri gave birth to Caiden Ajay in March last year.
